I love a well-placed word, a perfectly timed joke, and the kind of design that makes you feel something—even if that something is just “Wow, nice kerning.”
Wes Gibson is a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for creating visually compelling, story-driven work that connects with diverse audiences. He thrives in building thoughtful systems—whether for a brand, a digital interface, or a printed piece.
Rooted in human perspective, his practice is shaped by history, culture, and a belief in design as a tool for connection. Wes has contributed to award-winning work at INDUSTRY and led a range of freelance projects spanning strategy, storytelling, and visual design.
He’s especially drawn to projects with purpose—those grounded in community, care, and clarity. From global brands to neighborhood nonprofits, his focus is on design that informs, includes, and invites. This has led to a growing interest in civic and public-interest work—design that meets people where they are and helps build a more connected, accessible future.
When he’s not designing, he’s writing, cooking, or wandering the city in search of something new.
Wes is currently open to freelance and contract opportunities in graphic design, experience design, and production design, as well as junior art direction.
